The “Neoprene Flex – 2 ply” industrial duct is recommended for dust control and material transfer applications. The large diameter flexible pipe is made using a strong double-ply neoprene coated polyester fabric with a spring steel wire helix. The intelligent construction and durable 2-ply neoprene wall allows these flex hoses to withstand abrasive dust and other harsh materials. This hose is recommended for use in a vast list of harsh conditions including dust collection, grinders, woodworking and furniture industries.

Highly Compressible Industrial Ducts
A highly compressible flex ducts adds an additional layer of flexibility to a hose. Compressible ducting allows a hose to be compacted from its maximum length down to a nominal length and this allows for easy transport of the hose. Compression ratio of 9 to one means that a 25-foot length of hose can compress down to about a 4 foot length. This added feature makes a hose that is easy to maneuver along curves and elevations, even more effective at flexing its way from the starting point of the ventilation process to an end. Highly compressible flex ducting must also be lightweight, and this requires a hose wall that is durable and have great flex-fatigue. The “Tornado Flex” industrial hoses are made from hose materials that are listed as UL 94V-0 flame retardant. UL 94V-0 means that these hose materials stop burning within 10 seconds of being exposed to a flame (given that the source of fuel is removed from the burn area). This product is also manufactured with materials that meet NFPA 701 standards. This flexible air ducting has a temperature range of -20 degrees to +180 degrees Fahrenheit.
