How to Choose the Best Interactive Display for Your Business?

It's fair to say that business collaboration technology has come a long way in the 21st century, and interactive flat panel displays represent an important next step in adding a truly interactive element to the office boardroom.

Aside from the price of an interactive flat panel display, there are many considerations you can compare and look at when selecting the ideal solution for your business from the various interactive displays available. Let's review the hardware aspects:

I. Hardware specifications

One of the most important things to consider is the type of hardware you want to use in your business interactive display.

1.1 Resolution

Resolution can play an important role in the experience that your meeting room provides for employers and employees.

While smaller meeting rooms can use 1080p FHD displays, larger boardrooms, boardrooms and fully immersive suites benefit from 4K/UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution.

1.2 Size

Of course, size is important too.

When deciding on the size of your interactive flat panel display to meet your business needs, take a moment to consider the size of your meeting room. It is also worth considering the size of the potential audience for the interactive screen.

There are no specific rules when it comes to choosing the right display size for an entire meeting room. Typically, 65" is suitable for small to medium sized spaces or crowded spaces (less than 5 people), while 75" is suitable for medium sized meeting rooms (5 to 10 people), and 86" is suitable for large meeting room boardrooms and above (10+ people). yichuang electronic offers 65", 75" and 86 " to suit any of your meeting room requirements.

1.3 Connectivity

As a meeting platform, connectivity is another important aspect of a high-performance interactive display.

Interactive displays allow all meeting participants to connect wirelessly via their own laptops and smartphones, video conferencing devices or other internet-enabled devices - helping to impress clients and board members alike.

HDMI, VGA or DisplayPort signal inputs allow you to connect to external PCs and laptops if any meeting participants or guests want to use their laptops for presentations.

OPS slot: This allows you to connect to the optional Windows-based PC module and turn your interactive display into a powerful PC.

USB 2.0/3.0 and USB-C: These connections allow you to connect the Meetboard to external devices such as storage hard drives to share or save files from a USB drive. You can also easily and quickly connect a webcam, wireless dongle or video conferencing device to the Meetboard via a USB-C cable, and wirelessly mirror and touch the screen while charging the device.

1.4 Touch and stylus

The touch function is a key feature of the interactive whiteboard. It allows participants to write, annotate and manipulate the platform using their finger or stylus, and allows multiple users to draw on the display for group discussions.

However, there are some considerations you need to take into account when it comes to touch functionality. Most interactive flat panel displays support 20 touch points - but this is only from a hardware perspective. This means that although your display has a higher point capacity, the operating system may limit the flat panel display to just 10 touch points. But the limited number of dots still allows multiple people to write and draw.
